Building 1099 Renovations
Ft. Belvoir, Virginia
Old Logan Dental Clinic, Building 1099 is a one story facility with about 14,000 Sq. feet of space constructed in the 1970s of brick façade, raised concrete slab with a crawl space is currently used as a dental office. This current facility includes Dental Operatories, Laboratories, Administrative Offices, Reception, Bathrooms and related support areas.
BEI prepared construction documents for complete interior renovation of this facility for two Military groups use:

10,000 SQFT for Army Resilience Center.

4,000 SQFT for Army Sexual Harassment Resolution Agency.
In order to accomplish the renovation, a thorough knowledge of the existing structure, systems and programmatic needs was acquired prior to design. The design team in close co-ordination with the users programmed an entirely new layout for the uses that ranged from meeting rooms, conference rooms, private office, bathrooms and break rooms.
